58 Surf opened its doors in 1999, in Baleal, Peniche, founded by surfer and artist Ivo Nisa. From the very beginning, it became a life project, with every detail carefully considered — from the location and product selection to the quality of the service provided.

At 58 Surf, you can find a wide range of surfboards for all levels from some of the best brands, including JS Industries, Channel Islands, Lost Surfboards, Chilli, HaydenShapes, Pukas, MAR Surfboards, among others.

There is also an excellent selection of technical surf equipment from brands such as FCS, Dakine, Futures, Gorilla, Creatures, among others, as well as top wetsuit brands such as XCEL and Billabong.

In addition, 58 Surf offers a wide range of apparel, accessories and specialised services, with personalised customer support.

Today, 58 Surf has stores in Baleal (Peniche), Ericeira, Matosinhos and Costa da Caparica, as well as its Online Store.

Premium Service

As a store that has always kept sustainability in mind, 58 Surf has taken another step in this direction by joining the Despomar – Endure The Cycle programme, a project focused on managing resources more efficiently, for example, by reusing used materials that are still in good condition and repairing wetsuits.

We also offer the possibility to rent surfboards and wetsuits for both beginner and advanced surfers, either individually or in larger quantities for surf schools or tourist accommodation.
